A five and occasionally six car battle for the point continued with another caution six laps in slowing the progress. Lake Geneva's Christian Janssen, another first timer, took the lead prior to the yellow. Miklas, who started ninth in the main, worked in front with seven laps to go just prior to the main's final caution a lap later.

Janssen end up third. Racine's Josh Davidson fourth. Body Craft of Antioch, IL fast qualifier John Fahl of Brown Deer fifth.

Taylor won the Fox Lake Harbor All Star Performance 1st heat. Janssen took his first checkered ever in the Maximum Property Services Behling Racing 2nd heat. Fahl picked up the Body Craft fast qualifier with a :16.331 seconds clocking.

"I have to thank my dad who kept working on the car and giving me a great setup," said Funderburk of his first ever lightning sprint feature win in his young career. "All of the sponsors, everybody who has helped me be able to do my dream."

John Kirk of Johnsburg, IL took the initial lead, maintaining the top spot with several contenders closing as the 20-laps clipped off.

Five laps from the finish Funderburk shot to the outside down the front straightaway taking over the lead. Bristol's Tucker Richards earned the Behling Hard Charger honor improving five spots to get second on the final circuit. Kirk ended up third. Waukesha's Mark Heinert fourth. Nathan Crane of Waukegan, IL fifth.
