Andrews attends USAC Hoosier State doubleheader
A pair of USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship events brought Bryce Andrews to Indiana over the weekend for a challenging two-day swing.
Kicking things off Friday at Bloomington Speedway with the Larry Rice Classic, Andrews struggled to gain ground after a tough qualifying effort. He finished eighth in both his heat race and the consolation event, ending his night early.
On Saturday, Andrews rebounded at Tri-State Speedway in Haubstadt, where he secured the fifth-and-final transfer spot in his heat to earn a spot in the Spring Showdown A-Main. Rolling off from the 11th row, he crossed the line in 22nd in the 30-lap feature.
