Wisconsin wingLESS Sprints
Dirt Oval @ Route 66 Saturday Night May 15th
Two IRA divisions will be on hand this Saturday, May 15th, at the Dirt Oval @ Route 66 located on the grounds of Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet, Illinois. The Bumper To Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprint Series is joining forces with the FloRacing All Star Circuit of Champions in a co-sanctioned 410 sprint show, and IRA's AutoMeter Wisconsin wingLESS Sprints are the support class. Full fields in both are fully expected. Teams should exit off I-80 at IL Route 53 south, then proceed to Schweitzer Rd, (which is the road that separates the Super Speedway property from the Dirt Oval / Dragstrip property) turn east and proceed to Gate 12 and enter the facility there. You will drive around the spectator seating area of the dragstrip and the pit entrance will be outside turn 4 of the dirt track. Pit gates should be open early (by 1pm) for those needing to work on their cars, with engine warm ups currently slated for 6:00.
