The Meyer Services Wisconsin wingLESS Sprints presented by the IRA feature began with a wild two-car flip going into turn one. The melee eliminated Todd Lehr and Chris Klemko from competition with neither competitor injured.
Once the racing settled, first year driver Derek Crane of Waukegan, Illinois in just his second night behind the wheel of the non-winged sprint car had the former go-kart racer lead wire to wire to score his first feature win. Allen Hafford of Beach Park, IL was second, Kenosha's Matt White third, Pleasant Prairie's Dan Wade fourth and Salem's George Gaertner Jr. fifth.
